name Palmira developer Template Monster software Facebook page templates categories brasserie & bistro, Italian restaurant, seafood restaurant price starting at $50 license non-GPL license release date April 2012 reviewed by Renee Klein As Facebook continues to grow, it is becoming more and more powerful for marketers and business owners. Although Facebook is primarily for private social networking between friends, Facebook also allows businesses to set up pages to attract customers and tell the world what they’re all about. Especially in the competitive restaurant industry, having a Facebook page is essential. Luckily, it’s not that hard to build a great page with the help of a template!
Palmira is a Facebook restaurant page template designed and developed by Elza, available through the Template Monster marketplace. Palmira is minimalistic and highly picture-based – which is good, considering most people who visit your page are not going to read a ton of content. Most Facebook users scan through Facebook business pages, and leave if they don’t like what they see or if the page is too cluttered.
Palmira is very simplistic. At the top of the page is a large image slider where you can show off your culinary creations. Below that is a spot to place client testimonials. And below that is an area where you can place links to various pages on your website, each with their own thumbnail image and short description. Towards the bottom of the page is an area to place snippets from your menu, with a link to view the full menu.
This Facebook restaurant page template, like most that are sold by Template Monster, is powered by Moto CMS. Basically, Moto CMS is a system that allows you to customize your Facebook page, add and edit content, and change options all via an easy control panel. With Moto CMS, no web design or coding experience is necessary. All you really need is an hour or two to tinker around with the options and customize the site to your liking.
If you have your own WordPress-based website, you will be pleased to learn that Palmira is also available as a WordPress restaurant theme (click here).
