Short Tail Shellycame to us from a kill shelter in Arkansaswhere sheended up by no fault of herown. This is a nice, friendly girlwho is good with people & other dogs. Sheis very sweet, happy butwould benefit fromsome basic obedience and confidence building. Herapprox. birth date is 02/14/22and shecurrently weighs 40# full grown.We are guessing at herbreed make up. She does have a short tail. This girl tested fine with cats.She has been vet. checked, spayed,micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings includungrabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. We're looking for a new home for Iris. She is such a sweet and fun Australian Shepherd but due to a small house and the fact that she doesn't do well with our other dogs, she will have a better life in a different home. She is the smartest Aussie I have ever had - and I've had 4 of them! She loves to work and learn tricks, highly food motivated, highly motivated to please, and loves to go on hikes. She'll have her energy bursts, but once she gets her daily walk or play in, she wants nothing more than to snuggle up to you.She is reactive to strangers, but she is just now finishing up her third week of training and we are seeing so much improvement!The trainers are going to help with the transition from our home to yours - we will be covering the expense of "Transition Training" sessions.We want the best for this girl! She is such a sweetheart, but we just don't have as much time and energy as we used to to meet her needs.

Meet Deke. Deke came to us as a medical surrender and is about 6 months old now. Deke fell from a truck and broke his leg. Deke went to a specialist to repair his leg. He is now walking on his leg and will have his last visit soon. Deke is learning manners in foster care, crate training has started, he likes other dogs.
